Die and its surroundings

Between Alps and Provence, Die is the capital of its rural district and the cradle of the famous «  Clairette de Die » sparkling wine.
It lies near the Drôme River, at the foot of the imposing Glandasse Mountain

All along the Valley, the countryside is protected ; the wildlife and flora are rich and varied; the landscapes are coloured by lavander, sunflowers and vineyards, a fascinating heritage of buildings and still vibrant traditions.
